It's time for the monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop, and we're celebrating our First Anniversary this month with the addition of three new bloggers. Demonstrators from around the world that love to share our creative side with you every 2nd Friday of each month. 

 

The new Zoo Globe stamp set, 153303 pg. 54 in the Annual Catalogue, is just so darn cute!  I don't normally go for the cutsie animal stamps, but this one was just so fun I had to see what I could make. I think there is plenty of potential in this set without the domes and the whole idea of it being something for kids with shakers etc., so here is my take on what could be fun adult birthday or celebration cards.

 

This is another stamp set that requires colouring, but because the animals are small and simple, it doesn't take much to colour them in at all.  I used only my light blends and it took literally 5 minutes to colour all 6 plus the tree and grass.  This set lends itself easily to layering and bumping things up on dimensionals for 3D effect.  Add in the snow globe stamps, and maybe the acrylic dome, and you've got a really nice shaker card in 3D too.  Tonnes of potential! 

There are a couple sentiments that are a nice change from the standard lot. "It's A Good Day" and "Let's Go!" are just so fun, and could be for any celebration.  I hope you enjoy my projects and that you might try this stamp set out for yourself.
