Some Paper Pumpkin kits I like to just put together the projects as they are designed, while others are fun to see what else you can come up with. This month's kit was one of those for me.  I don't have any school age children any more, so the coach - teacher trophy aspect wasn't really doing it for me - but I liked the colour palate and the patterns included.

When I have a kit like this where I know I'm not going to make the intended projects, the first thing I do is punch everything out and cut up all the patterned card bases and layers.  Then I get some card stock for card bases and start layering and arranging elements.  I really liked the way these two argyle patterns looked on white, and there were three white card bases included for the shaker cards, so I decided white was going to be my card base for everything.  I also added some scraps of Crushed Curry and Pacific Point card stock for mattes and additional layers.

All in all, this was a fun kit to work with - I came up with 9 different cards in an evening and I still have over half of the kit supplies remaining.  A very good value for $30.
