TGCDT October 2020 Blog Hop - Life Is Beautiful

It's time once again for the monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop. Be sure to visit all the presenters in the hop - links can be found at the bottom. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters & Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that love to share our creative side with you on the 2nd Friday of each month.

For this month's project I decided to have some fun with the "Life Is Beautiful" stamp set from our annual catalogue. This stamp set was included in the most recent Craft Day In A Box event my partner and I hosted, and I really liked that the tree could be dressed for any season at all.
One of the cards we did in the event was a 4 season card that was a big hit. Also a big hit right now are Slimline Cards, so I decided to create a new 4 seasons card in Slimline fashion. It was fun and quick to do, and I'm quite pleased with the end result. The only change I may make to this design is to cut the panels a little smaller so more of the card base colour shows around the outside edges.
Measurements
- - Card Base: 8-1/2" x 7" / 21.6cm x 17.8cm scored at 3.5" / 8.9cm along the 7" / 17.8cm side
- - Inside Matte Layer: 8-1/4" x 3-1/4" / 21cm x 8.3cm
- - Outside stamped panels: 2" x 3-14" / 5cm x 8.3cm
