TGCDT January 2020 Blog Hop - Pretty Poppy Palooza!
Welcome to the January Blog Hop. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team is a group of male independent Stampin’ Up! demonstrators from around the globe, and we share what we love every 2nd Friday of the month. Make sure you check out the rest of the Design Team’s creative projects from the photo links at the end of this post.
I was in love with the poppies the moment I got a sneak peek of the new January-June Mini Catalogue at On Stage in Edmonton. It was the very first full suite I budgeted for on my pre-order because of it's vibrant colours and gorgeous designer paper - Stampin' Up! you have outdone yourself this time!
I have been playing with this suite for over a month now, and I have over 50 totally different designs already, and no end in site. This is such a diverse suite, I know it will stay in my collection for a very long time! I understand everyone won't be able to, or won't want to buy everything in the suite, so I decided I would show you three cards this month - one made only using the Painted Poppies stamp set and paper, one using only the Peaceful Poppies designer series paper and one with a little strip of the DSP, but focusing on the Peaceful Moments poppy dies. All three cards are beautiful and each one shows that you can use just one part of the suite to make great cards.
BEGINNER CARD - Stamping only
INTERMEDIATE CARD - Stamping & DSP
ADVANCED CARD - Stamping, DSP Layering & Die Cuts
If you join my Email Newsletter today, I'll enter you in this month's draw for a set of poppy cards I made in my video. Congratulations to Lena Beck - Cumberland BC, Shelby Lavrack - Saginaw MI and Linda Kulka - Edmonton on winning the draw for one of the Holiday Luminaries I made in my December video. They are in the mail now - I hope you enjoy them.
