TGCDT June 2020 Blog Hop - Jars Filled With Flowery Kindness
The new Stampin' Up! Annual Catalogue released this month, and there are nearly 200 pages of fun products to play with throughout the year. The first product suite I was drawn to as a "must have" was the Flowers For Every Season. Not only does it feature all five of the newest In-Colours, I could see this as a very versatile suite of products that will work for all kinds of projects.
There are two stamp set bundles in this suite - one with a punch; "Jar of Flowers: and one with dies; "Celebrate Sunflowers". I decided to start with the punch set, not only because it was a little less money, but because I LOVE shaker cards and have had great success with them in my classes and in my Gift Shop card sales. This half of the suite has acrylic domes that work with the punch - so I was immediately sold!.
My three cards this month will be based on that part of this suite, and as I usually do, I will show you how to make beautiful cards with the different parts of this suite, without having to have all of them. Work with what you have the budget for - don't break the bank.
It is worth noting off the top that this stamp set requires A LOT of colouring. It also doesn't have any sentiments included - so my video will be a little longer and my cards will seem to bring in a lot of extra "stuff" from what I would normally do. My style is generally simple and clean, and I think these projects are still in-line with that approach - it just looks like a lot of extra tools and product when you see it all laid out on the table at the start.
