TGCDT March 2021 Blog Hop - Flit Float & Flutter Like A Butterfly

It's time once again for the monthly Gentlemen Crafters Design Team Blog Hop. The Gentlemen Crafters Design Team (#TGCDT) are a group of male crafters & Independent Stampin’ Up! Demonstrators from around the world, that love to share our creative side with you on the 2nd Friday of each month. Be sure to visit all the presenters in this month's hop - links can be found at the bottom of this post.
I am absolutely taken with the new Butterfly Bijou Designer Series Paper - the whole butterfly suite is just gorgeous in fact, but I know that you don't have to break the bank all at once to create beautiful projects. I decided to limit myself to just the designer paper for this blog hop, and what I ended up with I am quite happy with.

Mother's Day Cards With Timeless Tulips

"Timeless Tulips" is one of my most favourite stamp sets, and one I will probably keep forever as I find myself pulling it off the shelf time and time again. Today I was thinking about the snow finally being gone and the tulips and crocuses pushing their way up though the soil very soon - so I decided to make some cards for Easter and Mother's Day too.
Mother's Day Cards With Love of Felt

I don't normally like to feature anything that isn't current on my blog, but "For The Love of Felt" was one of those special kits that was well loved and well used back in 2019. The intended card designs were quite fun, and very useful. I did several classes with it when it was in the catalogue, and sold 8 or 10 kits . I happened to pick up a couple extra of these kits off the clearance rack back at Christmas, just for the little felt flowers. Today I was thinking about them, and just for fun I made some whimsical Mother's Day cards by adding some basic supplies and cutting up the kit components.
Fun With February's Paper Pumpkin Kit

I am always saying how fun and creative I find Paper Pumpkin to be - and this month's kit really delivered on the fun. There were so many beautiful layers colours and textures to play with. I decided to go totally rogue with this kit, and rather than create the intended projects, I went my own way and explored different ways to use each piece. Here is what I cam up with.
