Revisiting Sail Away with Mountain Air

Growing up where a 20-30 minute drive in any direction brings you to the shores of the Atlantic Ocean and Bay of Fundy with the world's highest tides, and now Living on the South Shore of Nova Scotia just 20 minutes away from iconic Peggy's Cove, lighthouses marinas, sailboats and marine life are just a part of day to day life for me.
So of course when I saw the Sail Away suite in the catalogue, I HAD to have it - and I'm so glad it has carried over several times. I have showcased this suite a number of times, but inspiration struck when I saw other demos using it in conjunction with the Mountain Air stamp set - another I am happy carried over, and the soon to be released Polar Bear stamp set. As we looked through photos online, Sue and I worked up some ideas and set about playing with different techniques to reproduce what we saw.

Revisiting Parisian Beauty

The Parisian Beauty suite was another of the ones that I purchased and prepared classes and events for spring of 2020 with great anticipation.... The colours are so fun and bright, and the beautiful DSP with champagne foil highlights makes every project feel so extravagant.
Sue and I spent a whole day die cutting champagne foil Eifel Towers, fussy cutting cherry blossoms from the paper, and preparing different card bases and matte layers. Then we set about putting together different cards and treat boxes (which I forgot to take photos of, and then sent home with Sue).
Revisiting Pretty Peacock

My sister Sue came for a week-long visit this month, and we spent time working with this lovely suite of products before saying goodbye to it in my fall sale. I loved the peacock suite when I first saw it, and I did make a bunch of cards and gift boxes in preparation for classes - but alas Covid happened and all my classes got cancelled. So this suite and a handful of other all got put away pretty much unused.
